Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark
It would be such a strange thing, to think that you could make the burn of fire, calm and pleasurable. A source of happiness, as opposed to pain.
Or even stranger, to think that death and grieving could be made into a thing of joy and celebration - simply by the whim of man’s doing.
To consider such things in a serious light, I do think is only possible when considered from the place of the ego. And in addition, from the perspective that the uncontrollable happenings of all things material and immaterial are “bad” and therefore something to be amenable.
To consider such things is to condemn the negative in the ordinary matter; while without such charges, we would not exist. Or to completely disregard the role of the evening sky and say that night is something of no significance.
As if to say...
There is no depth,
no reason,
nor complexity-
To the very phenomenon that is
existence.
